Zondervan Books #2019WOMRHoliday

If you’re house is anything like ours, then books are a big thing. We love reading and I’m always on the lookout for books to keep on hand here at home for little ones that visit or to give as gifts for holidays. I honestly think that reading with kids is important but it’s also great bonding time and something that my 11 year old still cherishes even to this day. Zondervan has some amazing books for kids of all ages. The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.

Arcade and the Golden Travel guide is a great book and one that my daughter is reading for the second time. This book is one that I really like because it can be read as part of the series or as a stand alone book. In this book Arcade, Zoe and their Friend Doug end up traveling from New York to Virginia to spend time with cousins and best friends. While they are there strange things begin to happen and Derek and Arcade discover a hidden box of old notes deep in the woods. Eventually the kids begin to put all the pieces of the puzzle together and eventually Arcade will have to decide if the Triple T token really is worth all the trouble that is brings with the adventures. I really recommend this one for older kids and teens. It really is a great read and so easy to stay interested in.

If you are looking for a great read for younger kids then honestly you can never go wrong with the Bernstein Bears. The Bernstein Bears Trouble with tryouts is a great book where sister bear is a super soccer player and is really good but honestly she is small. Will she be able to make the team or will her small size leave her stuck out on the sidelines. I love how this book makes kids think and helps them to recognize that size doesn’t matter. This is a fun one to read with little ones at any time of the day.

The One and Only Wolfgang is a great hardcover picture book about family and how it doesn’t matter what you look like or how different you are, family is family. I love how all the odd and unique animals in this book teach children how easy it is to love one another even with our differences.

Last but definitely not least are the Bible Gems to Remember Illustrated Bible that helps you guide children through 52 different stories from the bible. One of my favorite things about this is how each story includes a powerful scripture of 5 words or less that children can memorize. Along with this we also love the Bible Gems to Remember Devotional. This book is filled with 52 amazing devotions that you can read together and are easy for children to memorize also. These books are amazing and we use them still to this day.

If you are looking for a great holiday gift then I would recommend any or all of these books. You honestly can’t go wrong with adding any of them to your library for your child.
