Wimmelworld
I love having picture books around for when my nephew comes to visit. It’s so fun to sit down with him and watch him just be amazed by the pictures and learning new things. To me books are the best thing ever for kids so when I heard about Wimmelworld and their amazing picture books I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them and add them to my library. The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.
I ended up getting four of their amazing books, including On the Farm, At the Construction Site, Cars and Things that go and Animals around the world. These books have very little words in them instead they use pictures to help encourage children and parents to use their imaginations can create their own stories. I love that because you can change the story anytime you want. My Nephew who is 3 loves sitting down with these books opening them up and telling us what is going on in them. When he opens the Animals around the world book, he always tells me about how the birds are talking to the humans and telling them about flying around. Or how the Monkeys will talk to each other about eating bananas and swinging on the trees. When he is reading the Cars and Things that go he will tell us about how the drivers are racing, or about how the monster trucks are big and trying to crush dirt hills.
I love how these books encourage him to use him imagination and how he can go on and on with the four different books that we have for him. When he is reading at the Construction Site he is always telling us about what they are building and how they are digging dirt to find dinosaurs. I love that he is learning what different things are by reading these books and us telling him what the different pictures are. Last but not least is the On the Farm book and this one my nephew loves making up stories about the farm and everyone working on it. He will tell us stories about the cows and pigs or about the tractors and trailers. I love that these books are so educational and promote the use of imagination in kids, they are having fun while learning and enjoying a book.
I love these books so much that I recently donated some to the preschool classroom at my daughters school we she helps read to the kids twice a week. The teachers said that the kids absolutely love them, she will let them use them during individual time or she will use them during circle time and make up different stories to keep the kids engaged. I honestly think that everyone with little kids or grandkids needs to add these books to their library for the kids.
