#Visit Mo : Missouri Enjoy the Show
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Missouri Division of Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.
I live in Kansas. Yep, in the middle of now where. It’s hard to find the perfect getaway place that doesn’t cost us an arm and leg to get to. So, I started researching the near by states and what there is to do there. It’s summer, and I bond to find the perfect getaway!! I was really impressed with what all there was to do in Missouri.
Of course I have three kids and a wonderful husband. I couldn’t imagine taking a vacation without them, so of course I had to plan something for the whole family. My perfect vacation would be four days. It’s just enough time to get away and have some fun, but not to long were it gets a little bit overwhelming.
I would have to say on day one I would spend it in a zoo. I think Zoo’s are the perfect way to start off a summer vacation and you can easily spend the whole day there. My kids love the monkeys and lions. What’s your favorite zoo animal. Also, just a little tip be sure to wear some sunblock!!
What’s a vacation without a little education. Yes, I am a mom and education is important. I would spend day two bouncing around different museums. There plenty of kid friendly museum. Two of the museums that caught my eye were the Mark Twain and Laura Ingalls Wilder homes and museums.
Okay did I mention that I am on a woman too?? So naturally I would want to do a little shopping. I would spend day three visiting the local malls and antique stores. You never know what you can find. And to make it up to the kids from dragging them around all day I would let them pick out where we ate at that day.
Day four, the last day of our vacation. I would let it be my husbands day. I can imagine that he would want to take the tour around the baseball park and visit some brewery.
There were just enough activities for the whole family that in four days I was able to find something to please everyone in the family. There are so many activities to do in Missouri you will be surprised. I know I was. You can find more about the attractions by visiting like VisitMO on Facebook and follow VisitMO on Twitter.
