Time to Cut the Cake
Disclosure: I received a Free product for review. My opinions are 100% mine.
This past weekend we celebrated Easter. I know it’s a weekend early, but it was the best weekend for us to get together with my mother and father in law. I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and host the dinner for the family. Now, when it comes to cooking I suck! We had the basic Easter food…ham, corn, rolls, and homemade mac n cheese. Everything turned out pretty good.My favorite (and the girls) was the mac n cheese. Now, here comes the fun part. I decided to make a cake. Not just a simple cake either. I made this really cute and decorative Easter Peeps Cake.
This Easter cake looks really cute and like it would be hard to make. It’s not though. Super easy in fact. Trust me, if I can do it and make it look nice so could you!! Cooking isn’t the only thing that I am not good at. I am not good at cutting cakes. When I cut the cakes they look sloppy and uneven. Lucky me, Love Cooking Co. has a Slice N Easy cake cutter that makes that even easy! I honestly can’t lose this year. I have the perfect cake and cake slices.
I was really impressed with how easy it was to use. Just place the cake cutter over the cake and push down. Then squeeze the handle and lift up to remove the slice. Finally, place the cutter with the cake inside on a plate and release the handle, and I just served a perfect slice! Not only was it easy to use but super easy to clean. All around I think I had the perfect desert and tools for it for Easter. What do you think?
