Experiment with getting the robot to walk on different surfaces: a tightrope, on a solid tabletop, on a soft surface, and even on your arm! The kit includes parts to build the robot and experimental setups, including a frame for the tightrope. My Thoughts:
This thing is so fun and so amazing that my Husband and I even played with it, so we ended up having to have more than one. With this kit you are able to not only build the robot, but there are 8 experiments in which you can explore and learn to understand the physics behind this Bots amazing behaviors. This comes with a full Color 24 page manual that includes illustrations and provides step by step instructions making it easy for kids to follow and build this on their own. I also love that it provides you with the scientific explanations providing you with both fun and something educational for your child.
We were so excited to put this together so we could see just how the robot works with its main component which is the gyroscope. It even gives you ideas on getting the robot to walk on different surfaces like on a solid table top or even on your arm. Our kids had so much fun with this, it literally kept them busy for a few hours when we first got it, and then I was sure they were done with it and ready to move on to the next toy.
I was surprised when they picked this back up after a short break from it and continued going through the experiments which are in the manual and spent time just doing and learning from the experiments until they could basically tell you everything scientific that they learned. This would be awesome for any kid into building and science and it would also be a great product for teachers to have in the classroom.
I recently shared this product with a friend of mine who teaches 5th grade and her students had a blast as a class playing and learning with this robot. It is one toy that my kids always show off when their friends come over, or they will take it outside with them and the neighborhood kids and them have a blast with it. This is a great toy to invest in especially since it’s not only fun but it’s also educational and will keep your child busy for a while as they explore all there is to learn with this robot.
