Slimfast 14-Day Slimdown
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
As you probably know by I have been on a mission these past three weeks. I wanted to lose weight. Eating healthy and losing weight is very hard. Especially as a stay at home mom. Between all things kids, household duties, errands and whatever else, when is there time for mom? Don’t get me wrong, I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job. But it’s not an easy one. It’s 24/7. You don’t get any time off, so it’s easy to take care of my kids and husband, but I tend to grab something quick and convenient when I have a second to eat. And it’s not always the healthiest options. There are even days I don’t eat. Which we all know isn’t the smartest choice!!

My Thoughts:
Slimfast has made it easier for me to eat something that’s quick and convenient, but not loaded with fat and calories. Slimfast® launched a new meal bar flavor in April 2014, Have Your Cake…™ Meal Bar. It has 180 calories per bar and it’s made of delicious vanilla cake and frosting and fun sprinkles. Have Your Cake…™ Meal Bar doesn’t taste like any other diet food that I have tried. It tasted good and honestly almost like a cake!! Who doesn’t like cake? I also had a chance to try their Pina Colada shake. I LOVED that shake. It tasted great. In fact they were the first ones gone! The hardest part for me was finding meals under 500 calories, but it’s possible. I found some pot pies that were under 500. You could also have a nice salad! The one thing being on this challenge has taught me is to think a little more about what I am eating and how much. I am still working towards my weight loss mission and plan to stick to it. Yes I have already have a couple little fall backs, but it’s about taking one step at a time and not giving up. It’s also about rejoicing in the positive choices and slowly working towards my goal! It just these few short weeks I have lost 18.4 pounds!! If I can do it, so can you!!
