If you have a young reader then this review is for you, these books titled Hearts of Ice, Grumpy Unicorn: Why Me?, and Go Away, Unicorn! are all great and fun books to read. These books are geared towards kids 4-8 years old and are great fun books for kids learning to read. The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. In the Book Hearts of Ice, Evangeline is a girl who has been lonely her entire life. She doesn’t really have any friends because her Mother rarely lets her play outside especially if it’s snowing. However on her birthday, Evangeline finds that her window is open and now her room is full of snow. She learns that she has a twin sister from another world and now someone is trying to lure her back into the magical realm where danger awaits her. This is a great book, full of adventure that will keep the reader engaged the entire time.

Then there is Grumpy Unicorn: Why Me? This book is about a Unicorn who isn’t the sparkly, magical creature that we all think of when we think Unicorns. Instead Grumpy Unicorn is just a down right grouch who doesn’t like seasons, holidays, traveling or basically anything else. Yet someone this grumpy unicorn will make you smile with his looking tough always frowning act. This is a great beginner book that is easy and fun to read.

Last but certainly not least, we have Go Away, Unicorn. this book about a young girl named Alice who has a unicorn best friend that constantly pops into and out of her life without warning. However Alice isn’t interested in rainbows, glitter, things that are pink or unicorns. So how will she react when her life is turned completely upside down when a real-live unicorn shows up. This Unicorn is a wild and wacky party animal who does everything he can to make sure to add some fun into Alice’s day, but she doesn’t like it she tells him to Go Away. This is a great adventure and is fun to read for any young reader.

These books are great beginner reader books and also make great gifts for the upcoming holidays. If you have any readers in your family then I would recommend checking these books out and getting them for your little readers library.
