Ripley’s Believe it or Not…Do you Believe it?
Thinking outside of the box is nothing new for Ripley’s Believe it or Not. If that’s the way you think or the things you like to look at, then Ripley’s Believe it or Not in Branson, MO is the place for your family and you! The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance with FTC Guidelines.
The first thing you will notice about Ripley’s is the unique style of the building. My two youngest thought it was fallen apart and broken. When you walk up to Ripley’s you are met with a huge transformer that is almost as tall as the building! Along the sidewalk in front of Ripley’s are other sculptures made out of various unique pieces such as tires, coins, and other items. There is also a perfect photo frame to snap a photo of the whole family before you before you enter. When visiting Branson, Ripley’s is definitely something you will not want to miss!
When you enter the attraction you have the option to go through the gift store or to to start the attraction. When you do, you will get a couple pictures taken of your entire party by a staff member. It’s a perfect way to remember the visit!
As a mom of four very busy hands-on kids, I loved the tons of hands-on exhibits for the kids to experience, which are not only fun, but education as well. Of course there are numerous exhibits that are fun and neat to look at, and it is up to you to decide whether you “believe it or not!”
Some of the top hands on activities for my kids were the wall to wall color brite, the operation game, the question and answer activities, and the spinning hallway. My youngest loved the dancing hallway and the candy bugs. Of course what busy little toddler boy wouldn’t love that?!
There are exhibits that catch all the eyes of all ages. There is an art piece made out of the insides of a cassette tape. I am going to keep that one a secret so I don’t ruin it for you! If you know what it is let me know! My daughter loved the world’s largest ball of twice. She asked me if she could do it.
There are tons of history exhibits here as well. You can see Babe Ruth wallets, shrunken heads, and so much more! She also liked comparing herself to the life-sized model of 8’11” Robert Wadlow. Her response was…”see, I am short!”
The ending was probably the girls favorite and I can still hear the laughs as I am typing this. In order to enter the gift shop you can take two paths…the coward’s path or the spinning hallway. The spinning hallway only makes you feel like you are spinning but you aren’t actually spinning. It’s the perfect way to end the believe it or not experience. Because trust me, you won’t believe it!
My kids love their books. This would be so much fun for them.
