RideSafer Travel Car Seat
Ahh, Summer Time! Who loves it just as I do? One of my favorite things to do during the summer is travel. Especially since we live at minimum of five hours from any family member. Since my husband is a teacher he also gets summer time off. So we use that time to do all of our traveling and visiting family. I have four beautiful kids. Two of them our just in the bottom booster. Honestly, they could probably do with out but I feel it’s better to be safe than sorry. My youngest is in an infant carrior. All three of those seats are easy to transfer to another vehicle. However my youngest daughter is in a five point harness that I swear weighs a ton. I despise moving it. So, when I was asked to review this RideSafer Travel Car Seat I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. It was perfect timing! This post is a sponsored post, but all opinions, stories, and my experience are all personal and true (like always)!
The RideSafer is a great travel car seat, secondary seat for carpools or use-everyday-for-every-ride child restraint for children starting at 3 years old and 30 pounds (see size chart).
Whether you’re seeking a better alternative to the traditional booster seat or a more portable option to the forward-facing, 5-point harness, the certified RideSafer wearable car seat vest offers:
- A unique, 3-clip design that positions the car’s seat belt comfortably and correctly with optional tether for consistent sitting position and increased security
- Increased safety and comfort by allowing the child sit further back and lower on the more comfortable vehicle seat.
- Lightweight and easyportability, which is great when traveling with kids.
- A cooler, less baby-ish option to traditional car seats and boosters
- A new, patented “Houdini” proof buckle (go here to learn how to use it)
RideSafer travels in a bag, so it’s easy to take with us for the moments miss Carly Jo wants to ride with her nana but I don’t want to move sets. Because moving her seat is like getting poked over and over again! LOL I will not do it unless I have to. So usually it’s just the older two that gets to ride with her, but with this vest she can! It’s super easy to set up. It took me all about five minutes to do. It doesn’t take up much room, so it fits perfect in her nana’s jeep. It’s safe for her, because it brings the seat belt down to her level and rides on her just like it should. At first glance I thought maybe it would be uncomfortable for her but she loves it. She says she feels like a big kid in it and it doesn’t bother her at all.
I am not going to replace the one I have in my van that we use on an every day base, but this is beyond perfect for those moments where she just needs to hop in another vehicle for a quick trip. It’s safe, easy to use, and easy to travel with! Who do you think needs a RideSafer vest?
