This is a sponsored post.  As with all the products I blog about, I use them personally and opinions are my own, I was not influenced in any way by the compensation I received.

Summer time is coming to an end. Are you sad? Me, no. I am ready for this heat to go away and never come back again. I know wishful thinking. Summer will be back. You know what else NEVER goes away? The sun. Just because it isn’t summer doesn’t mean you don’t need to wear sun glasses. Sun glasses is need all year-long.

Why should you worry about your children’s sunglasses? Because they are a necessity – not an accessory!!

  • Sunlight can permanently damage your child’s eyes.
  • Sun damage is permanent and cumulative.
  • Eye disorders caused by sun damage: cataracts, age-related macular degneration, Pterygia (abnormal tissue grown on the whites of the eyes), Skin Cancer around the eyes, and Photokeratitis (sunburn of the cornea)

What can you do to protect your little one’s eyes?

  1. Only purchase sunglasses that are proven to block 100 % of both types of UVA
  2. Check the lens carefully for scratches, bubbles, and distortions.
  3. Select sunglasses that match your child’s active lifestyle.
  4. Look for sunglasses with polycarbonate lenses and frames.
  5. Consider wrap-around designs.
  6. Make sure the sunglasses deliver a snug and comfortable fit.
  7. Do not buy opaque sunglasses.
  8. Wear your sunglasses ALL year-long.
  9. Buy from manufactures that stand behind their sunglasses.
  10. Know the pros and cons of polarized lenses. Knowledge is power!

So why don’t you protect your little one  with Real Kids Shades!
My Thoughts:
I got try several different kinds of shades. My favorite part was the ones that came with a band. That’s simply because they don’t fall off the kids head!  They stay put where you put them.  There are also a 100% UV protection! So you don’t have to worry about the sun bothering your little one. Not only will they keep the sun out but water as well. They are waterproof AND rustproof.  We all know kids are rough on well…just about anything. So it’s nice having a pair of sunglasses that you can rest assure that they won’t break because they are shatterproof and impact resistant. They are comfortable for your little one to wear.  There are no pointy temple arms or metal hinges. They also grow with your little one. All you have to do is adjust the neoprene band. They also carry some pairs that don’t come with the band for the older kids. That’s what we got for my oldest son. He really loved his sunglasses and felt like a big kid in them. His came with a carrying case just like his dad and he thought that was the best thing ever.  Your little one is going to love wearing these shades. They are comfortable, they keep the sun out of their eyes, and the best part they are stylish. They have tons of designs that you can choose from!!
