My Thoughts:
Mary Poppins is a great Children’s Musical Classic set in London in 1910. This Movie is about Mr. Banks and his two children Jane and Michael. The children run their Nanny off after they run off for the 4th time in one week. Mr Banks places and Ad for a new Nanny, meanwhile the children also write-up their own ad. After showing their Father the ad, he rips it up and throws it in the fireplace. Magically the ad floats up the fireplace and the next day Mary Poppins shows up with the Children’s Ad. Mary Poppins takes the children on some magical adventures while she is with them. Mr Banks who is uptight at the beginning of the movie has a change of heart at the end of the Movie. This is a movie that captures the hearts of children and is a cute and fun movie to watch. The music is catchy and fun and the dancing is quite neat to watch.
