Review: Lorex Technology Video Baby Monitor
This is a sponsored post. As with all the products I blog about, I use them personally and opinions are my own, I was not influenced in any way by the compensation I received.
As a mom it’s our job to protect and take care of our little ones. We always want to be there and make sure they are safe and protect them for any harm. Although, as much as we want to be we can’t always be there. I have to admit I watch WAY too much Law & Order. I don’t like the fact that I am at one end of the house and the kids are at the other end. I want to be to check on them whenever I want, but not running into the risk of waking them up when I walk on the floor boards that make a creaking sound. With all that in mind you can probably understand the excitement I had when I got to review the Lorex Sweet Peek Video Baby Monitor.

My Thoughts:
Technology is my best friend. No matter what age your children are these are a must have! For about the first week I had these I moved the monitor back and forth between the kids room. My six-year-old likes to wake up in the middle of the night and watch his T.V. So one night he got a nice little surprise when he heard his mom (but couldn’t see her) to turn off his T.V. and go back to bed!! So, honestly I would have to say my favorite feature is the two-way talk. It’s so funny to watch the kids reaction the first time they heard me. There are so many more great features this video monitor. I only have one camera, but you are able to connect more than one camera and connect it to one monitor. I plan to get another camera or two after we move. You are also able to zoom in on the scream. Which is perfect! One day I couldn’t notice were Carly Jo was in the crib. (She recently made her first big escape from the crib, so I thought she did it again.) But before I went in to check I zoomed in on her crib and spotted her in the furthest corner of her crib! So I was able to relax knowing she was sleeping in her bed. We recently started turning on our air conditioner. I am always afraid they are too cold or hot, so it’s nice that the these baby monitors will tell me what temp it is in their room. That way I can adjust it accordingly and not have to guess. With it being summer time my family and I like going outside and setting a fire in the fire pit. However, sometimes it pasts Carly Jo’s bed time. I use to have run in and out to check on her because I couldn’t see or hear her. The monitor is portable, so I am able to take it outside with me and see her (even in the dark, the night vision is PERFECT!) and hear her just as I was in the house. My oldest daughter who is afraid of the dark loves the fact that it has a night-light on it. Carly Jo’s favorite part is that it will play music for her until she falls a sleep. I can’t tell how much I love this monitor. It makes resting at night-time a whole lot easier!!!

I love the features of this video baby monitor. It is definitely an upgrade from the one I used when my boys were younger. Thanks for linking up at #ThrowbackThursdayLP
