Review: Kaytee Lava Ledge

We have a guinea pig and when we first got this, I wasn’t sure our little guy would like it, however once I put it in his cage he became curious and started using it. With this small toy your pet can chew on it clean its teeth, and use it to climb on.

This is made of pumice rock so it’s safe to chew and it secures safely to the cage. It can even be good for jumping exercises for your pet since they can climb on and jump off of it. It is colored with a pet safe food coloring and I love that when our Clubber chews on this he is actually cleaning his teeth.

It’s a great ledge and I have noticed lately that Clubber loves to climb up on his and just relax. Other times he will chew on it from below. You can decide where in the cage to put this since it easily attaches anywhere. You can put it higher or lower depending on the size and ability of your pet.
