Every weekend we try to set down as a family and watch a movie. I got to admit sometimes with three little ones it’s hard to find something ALL of us would like. However I think we hit the jack pot with The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec.
About The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec
“The year is 1912. This is the story of an intrepid young reporter Adèle Blanc-Sec and her quest for the power of life over death. Her journey would take her to distant lands to face many dangers beneath the sands. She will go to any lengths to achieve her aims, including sailing to Egypt to tackle mummies of all shapes and sizes. Meanwhile in Paris, a 136 million-year old pterodactyl egg on display in the natural history museum has mysteriously hatched, and the creature subjects the city to a reign of terror from the skies. But nothing fazes Adele Blanc-Sec, whose adventures include many more extraordinary surprises…”
My Thoughts:
Never judge a movie by its cover. I thought this movie would be more for us adults but it had just enough ventures and “monsters’ in it that it kept all three of my children’s attention. Carly Jo (2 year) briefly lost a little attention, but that’s to expect for her age. To be honest I loved the movie! Adele Blanc-Sec is fighting for her love one and doing what ever it takes to find them. I think that was a perfect lesson for my oldest who has hit the stage that he doesn’t like his sisters that much. In the end family is what you got to fight for. I know we will be watching this movie again on one of our weekend movie nights.
