The Potty Boot Camp:Potty Training Tips

This is a sponsored post.  As with all the products I blog about, I use the  m personally and opinions are my own, I was not influenced in any way by the compensation I received.

Carly Jo just turned two this summer. This weekend I am picking up some training pants and will be tackling potty training. Even though Carly Jo is my third child I still feel like I needed some potty training tips. The Potty Boot Camp provided me with tons of tips!

About The Potty Boot Camp:

First, and most important, I am here to support you.  With the purchase of The Potty Boot Camp via our website you will receive free personal coaching – you won’t get that anywhere else!

The Phases:

1.  Your child begins ‘Prep Work’ – this familiarizes the child with the potty and makes it a part of their daily lives, even prior to training. (By the end of this phase your toddler might just be asking YOU if they can use the potty!)

2.  The ‘Boot Camp’ Phase – this is where you’ll have a couple of days of hard work. By the end of this phase your child will fully understand what is expected of them and will likely be reliably telling you that they need to go. The first day of this phase is the day your son or daughter will give up diapers forever!

3.  ‘Reinforcement’ -Just like it sounds, this phase helps to cement in place the new skills your child has learned.

4.  ‘Maintenance’ – Your toddler is now potty trained!!! I’ll teach you in this phase how to make sure your child continues to reliably use the potty, and I’ll also teach you how to handle any regression if it happens.

My Thoughts:

I have to say I wish I had this book before I potty trained Bryson. It was extremely hard to potty trained him. The first that caught my eye was this book was only 39 pages long from cover to cover. That’s huge for me! I find it very hard to set down and read longer books. My time is limited and I need short reads. Not only was this book a short read but very helpful. At the end of the book it provides you with a shopping list. I plan to get all this stuff this weekend and start potty training Carly Jo on Monday. I can honestly say I feel confident and think it will go a whole lot better than the other two.
