Potatoes: What to do with them??

Do you price comp at Wal Mart? If not, you should!! Today I went grocery shopping with my spreadsheet in hand and ready to get some great deals! My favorite of all was 10 pound bags of potatoes for only a $1. I grabbed two! I don’t live close to a grocery store, so naturally on the drive home my mind wonders. Today, it was wondering what all to do with them. I had then decided when I get home I would do a search online to see.

Potatoes

  1. Adam & Maxine’s Famous Latkes
  2. Potato Torta with Tuscan Kale & Pancetta
  3. Slow Fried Fries
  4. Vegetable Shepherds Pie
  5. Slow Cooker, Easy Baked Potato Soup
  6. Oven Fried Potatoes
  7. Seasoned Potato Wedges
  8. Chef John’s Perfect Mashed Potatoes
  9. Sausage Potato Bake
  10. Ham & Potato Soup

Now, if you are like me you LOVE potatoes! I know I will defiantly try the slow cooker, easy baked potato soup. Simply because I love potatoes and using slow cookers is easy!! I know these ten recipes are just the tip of the iceberg.

I would love to hear from you. What is your favorite recipe? Do you use potatoes a lot or just a little?

  6. YUM! We love potatoes here! We’ve been doing a yummy potato soup recipe this fall/winter that is a huge hit. Another one we do is similar to your potato and sausage bake, only I just pan fry it and serve it up quickly. Great ideas, thanks for the post!
