I never thought that you could have a yummy treat that is actually good for you! But it is! With Pure Pantry you can find several yummy deserts that are gluten-free and dairy free. I was given a chance to try out their old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie mix. I have to say I was pretty pleased!!

My Thoughts:

These cookies were very easy to make. The required little ingredients and had plan and clear directions on the bag. I had several cookies (24) in matter of 20 minutes from start to end. In the past when I have made cookies they always seem to get real flat and not hold a good shape. With pure pantry’s chocolate chip cookie mix the cookies were nice, fluffy, and held a good circle shape. I have to admit I was a little nervous about testing these cookies, well because they are gluten-free and I have never tried gluten-free cookies. They tested great. Not a single member of my family (even the picky one) complained about the cookies. In fact they were gone by the end of the day! The only thing I didn’t care about these cookies was the texture. It’s hard to explain, but they had a different feeling in my mouth. Considering I am getting a yummy desert that is healthier for me, the texture in my opinion is a small price to pay and I will deal with it.
