Today marks an important day for me. It’s a day my family and I are changing things up in this household. We (or I am) are attempting to make things from scratch so the meals are healthier. The main goal is to eat healthier and exercise more as a family. The one thing that I have learned is it’s important to eat a good breakfast but I am not a fan of breakfast. My Thoughts:

I have to say that I am very impressed with the Ninja Ultima Blender. For our first test, we decided to make mash potatoes. I was curious about how it would do. It worked great. In fact I think I got it a little to smooth. But it did the job of hand mixer and less time!! Next we tried smoothies. This is what I was most impressed with. It crushed the ice in matter of seconds.  It gave us restaurant quality smoothies in matter of seconds and half the price! The ice was smooth and there were no small chunks that you sometimes get in other blenders. As a mom of three little ones who like to help me in the kitchen I really like that it had all the safety safeguards and built-in mechanisms to make sure that the Ninja was as safe. It also has a feature that helps prevent a HUGE mess! (Another plus for us busy moms!)Once you have everything in in it, the lid locks as well as the canister itself.  I usually don’t use my blender much because the clean up is a pain in my booty. However the clean up was also extremely easy. To say the least, the Ninja Ultima Blender is much more user-friendly than our previous blender and will be used more often!!
