My Thoughts:
Recently I was given the chance to review the My Little Pony: The complete series on DVD. Me and the girls sat down and watched the whole series. Anymore Zoey’s off wanting to do her own thing. Rarely does she want to set and watch tv. But on this day I had Carly Jo on one side and Zoey on the other. It was as if she was still little. I really miss those days. The ponies’ most cherished friend is Megan, a young girl of about 13 who was brought to Ponyland to help them in their darkest hour. She continued to visit her friends and often served as leader when trouble struck. Eventually, her younger brother Danny (probably 11) and sister Molly (around 9) met the ponies, and the three of them came to stay in Ponyland for extended visits. I loved My Little Pony when I was younger and it was great sharing it with them. I think the show does a great job of teaching the girls how they should act. For example, being nice to their brother and sisters and to enjoy going on adventures and playing with them. In fact just after we got done the girls went and played with their brother in the back yard. I asked what they were doing, the oldest said…”It’s a secret!” Than all three giggled. That’s a sound I will always enjoy hearing even if I am left in the dark. You can find this DVD over at Shout Out Factory. I am sure you will enjoy it also.
