Learning with Learning Resources ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card

I have a four-year old, Zoey, who is in a Home Based Headstart. The teacher comes to our home once a week and spends 90 minutes. Zoey is just like my son, Bryson, who soaks up anything and everything. I wasn’t happy with how much and how fast she was learning with the Headstart. So I decided to start doing things on my own. I didn’t know where to start and that’s why I turned to Learning Resources.

I never had such a hard time picking something for Zoey. Shopping for her is super easy. Learning Resources has tons (TONS!!) of great items to help encourage your little ones learn. I wish I could have bought the whole store, but well that’s not realistic  So I narrowed it down to the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card. I wanted her to learn her numbers and abc more than anything else, so it was the obvious choice.  I honestly don’t know who was more excited to get this her or me. It has four different games on their. You can match the upper and lowercase letters together. You can find the missing letter. You can count the dots and match them to the right number. And lastly you can find the missing number.

Zoey’s favorite game is finding the missing letter. I think it’s because it’s easier for her. I love the count the dots game. It’s what I want her to know. I want her to connect the amount to the written number. She struggles the  most with that. But just after two weeks of playing with this about 15 minutes a day she started to pick up on it and began enjoying. Again, because it got a lot easier for her! She was learning.  Not only does it help her learn, but it’s also very portable. It’s easy for me to throw in the diaper bag and take it a long with us. It’s the perfect thing to entertain her while we are at doctor appointments. It’s also very sturdy. Her sister has gotten a hold of and has dropped it a few times and still works like new! To sum it is perfect item for her and me.  Because anything that helps my children learn and make it fun for them is always  huge win!!
