Giveaway/Review: Keep Your Little One Safe with Britax Marathon 70-G3
This is a sponsored post. As with all the products I blog about, I use them personally and opinions are my own, I was not influenced in any way by the compensation I received.
My dad is a paramedic and I have heard enough horror stories about children in-car wrecks that I would go above and beyond making sure my little ones is safe when we are on the road. With that in mind I would only want the best for them and Britax has been known for their car seats. They are safe and comfortable for the little ones.
About the Britax Marathon 70-G3:
There are several number of features that makes this car seat one of the safest car seats for your little one!!
- Base with SafeCell Technology features SafeCells designed to compress in a crash, significantly lowering the center of gravity and counteracting the forward rotation of the child seat which normally propels the child toward the front seat
- Integrated Steel Bars strengthen the connection to the vehicle and reduce forward flexing of the child seat during a crash
- Energy-Absorbing Versa-Tether features a staged-release tether webbing to slow the forward movement, reducing the crash forces reaching the child, and a two-point attachment to minimize forward rotation while anchoring the top of the child seat
- Side Impact Protection comprised of deep side walls lined with energy-absorbing EPP foam distributes crash forces, shields from vehicle intrusion, and contains the head, neck and body
- Tangle-Free, Five-Point Harness distributes crash forces across the strongest parts of the body and provides a secure fit
- HUGS (Harness Ultra Guard System) Chest Pads provide resistance to forward movement in the event of a crash
- 70-pound Weight Capacity for safety and comfort as your child grows
- Rear and Forward Facing Recline for child comfort and positioning
- High Density Comfort Foam provides an extra layer of padding to gently cushion your child
- Plush, Easy-Remove Cover with matching comfort pads and infant body pillow to provide extra comfort and easy cleaning without disassembling or uninstalling the child seat
- Two Buckle Positions offer a snug and secure fit for your growing child
- Quick-Adjust, No-Rethread Harness reposition the harness shoulder height without disassembling the harness straps
- Premium Lower LATCH Connectors for a quick and simple installation featuring a push button for easy release
- Built-in Lock-Offs ensure a snug lap and shoulder belt installation with minimal effort
- Anti-Slip, Contoured Base grips and protects the vehicle seat while offering optimum vehicle fit
My Thoughts:
I am in love with this car seats. Everything about it is perfect. They honestly thought of both the safety and comfort of the little one. Actions speaks louder than words. One day I was putting Carly Jo in her seat and she lifted up the bottom buckle. In many ways I think she wanted to make sure I didn’t forget to use it. Britax had put a cushion behind the buckle part so it wouldn’t be poking and hurting them. In all honesty it makes it easier on me too. I don’t have to worry about pinching her either. I also LOVE their quick adjust no thread harness system. It makes it ten times easier to adjust the harness as Carly Jo grows. No more threading!! I know many moms will be happy about that. I have had horrible time installing car seats in the right way. This car seat went in as easy as pie. All other tethers I had to deal with were extremely hard to get in nice and tight. I just couldn’t adjust them. This one was a lot different. I have tether and buckled in. It’s not going anywhere! Carly is just barely two and can only say a certain amount of words. However, since using the Britax Marathon 70-G3 I have noticed our drives being a lot easier on this mommy. She doesn’t seem to be fussing as much as she use to. I would have to say that’s all due to the fact this seat is super comfy. There are tons of padding and cushion for her. With that being said if you are looking for a new car seat this not only safe but comfortable for your little one I would say the Britax Marathon 70-G3 is for you!!

It will be for my daughter! Great giveaway!
Oh my gosh that baby looks adorable and safe in that carseat! I don’t have a baby this young but I have several nieces and nephews in this age group and I absolutely do not ride with them out of a safety seat, and it must be fastened correctly. It is too dangerous not to do so, and simply to easy to do. This Britax seat looks like a winner to me.
I love the pattern! I am going to look into a Britax for our next car seat now that I read this review.
This looks like a great car seat. We are shopping for one and I will keep Britax in mind thanks to this review!
Love all the safety features and the harness!! Not to mention they have the cutest paterns! I love mine I will never use another brand!
