Keep Your Little One Comfy With Swaddle Designs

A couple of months ago I received a new mattress for Carly’s crib.  I had decided with a new mattress she needed new bedding. Just like I do with a lot of my purchase I began to do some research to find just the right bedding. I feel in love with Swaddle Designs  fitted crib sheets.

My husband and I hadn’t decided a theme per say for Carly, but we did decide that we wanted to have pink and browns in her room. Here are some tips that the CPSC offers for safer sleep:

• Make sure the crib sheet fits snugly and overlaps the mattress so it cannot be dislodged by pulling on the corner of the sheet. (Swaddle Designs fitted crib sheets does just that even after a wash!) 
• Never use an adult sheet on a crib mattress; it can come  loose and present an entanglements hazard to young children.
• Place a baby on his/her back on a firm, tight-fitting mattress in a crib meeting current safety standards.
• Remove pillows, quilts, comforters, and sheepskins from crib.
