Handmade Easter Basket Ideas
As a Mom and an Aunt of older kids who are now having kids of their own I’m always on the lookout for really cute gifts for them. With Easter right around the corner I was on major hunt mode and found some of the most adorable handmade gifts that were just absolutely amazing. One of them was a hand crocheted rocking horse and the other was a waldorf inspired felt puzzle. Both of these were simply amazing so I just had to get them and see for myself how well my niece and nephew would love them. The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. The felt puzzle is simple, fun and amazing. It is great if you have a little one who is at the age where they are starting to learn and recognize shapes and colors. With this puzzle, there are fruits and vegetables that have been split in half and your little one gets to match them back up. I love the fact that it is a felt puzzle and it comes in a cute easy to carry along box. My nephew is two almost three and he loves this puzzle, he takes it with him in the car and it helps keep him busy when he is with his mom running errands. This is definitely a great gift for any toddler or little one.
Another one that they had was the crochet rocking horse. This is made with a soft yarn and is just so fun and unique. I love gifts like this because not only are they more unique but the kids seem to like them better as well. This is great for little kids or older ones who love horses. My daughter is 10 and she loves having this in her room for a decoration and also for pretend play. If it gets dirty, it’s so easy to just hand wash in some lukewarm water and let it dry and then it’s good to go again. My niece is 6 and really into horses and she loves this as well. She loves to play pretend and sometimes she will let her baby sister grab it and play with it as well.
