As any mom of kids we worry about what are kids handle and play with. There are many things that they handle that have harsh chemicals in them that aren’t safe for them or the environment One example (out of many) is art supplies. My daughter LOVES art. Probably more than any one of my other kids. Although, they enjoy it too. Recently I have had a chance to review some art supplies by Green Apple Supply.

I know that’s a lot of information about the company, but I feel that’s an important part why I love these products! They are all made from recycled material. The newsprint art paper is made from 50% post-consumer recycled paper. The marker tubes are 25% recycled plastic and the box is 100% post-consumer waste paper. Plus the markers are non toxic! The construction paper is made from heavyweight grade has 100% recycled content and is recyclable. They star crayons are 100% recycled and recyclable crayon. Not only is the crayon recycled so is the box!
Now you know that these are safe for your kids and the environment. Are the fun to use? Well, YES! My kids especially my daughter loves them! I personally think they are the coolest thing ever! The color pencil and pencils are like tiny trees that you can write with! Neat hugh! You wouldn’t think tiny trees are comfortable to use but they are! I have written with pencils myself and use them more than my kids. They want to use the color ones. 🙂 I especially love the newsprint art paper roll! I can cut off just the right amount of paper. I don’t have to worry about having too small or too big papers. I get what I need. My kids love the colors of the Neapolitan construction paper. They keep telling me…”Mommy I can do this and this and this with it!” I love the fact that they are so inspired to use their imagination and they are having fun!
