It’s summer time and one of the things you wouldn’t see me in is anything sleeveless. There are many reasons why not, but one of them is because I worried about how my skin looked and just simply didn’t feel comfortable. That was until I was giving the chance to try out Dove Advanced Care Deodorant. It made me think twice about wearing something sleeveless. Hey, it’s Kansas and in the middle of summer. It’s hot!!!

• For petite women who would like to create the appearance of more broad, square shoulders, it would be better to wear a sleeveless top that highlights the collarbone. Cap sleeves can also do this for petite women. If a woman has broader shoulders, I would recommend a strapless cut.
• My summer essentials include: sunscreen, Dove Advanced Care Deodorant (I like the Nourished Beauty fragrance), and lip balm with an SPF.
• I think it is fun to experiment with sunglasses during the summer season. Sunglasses look good on anyone, and there are so many styles so you can buy them to match your personality.
• When headed to the beach, I think it is fun to pair lots of jewelry with swimwear. Some people think it can get a bit hot, but I think it’s very chic! Birkenstocks and Converse are also great options to wear to the beach.

My sister-in-law and her sister each tried one. The oldest took the sheer touch and the younger one took the rebalance.  That left me with the sensitive deodorant. I let them choose which one they wanted, so I didn’t have much of a say. I will say I am pretty happy with mine! Even though it was supposed to be unscented it still had a fresh clean smell. Almost reminded me of a fall breeze after a fresh rain. It also left my underarms feeling smooth and soft which was great especially after I just shaved. Shaving always seemed to irritate my skin, but with the advanced care it wasn’t a problem.

I asked them what they thought of their deodorant. The first thing the said that it smelt great!! They both tested it out at a cousin’s wedding. They said that it didn’t leave any crude on the dresses. Which is important when you are dancing and waving your arms every which way. LOL!  Overall the oldest was very pleased and had this to say: It gave me the confidence I needed to go sleeveless, I wasn’t concerned with dry skin or un-fresh underarms after my volleyball games.
