Getting and Staying Organized with Fellowes #sponsored #MC
“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Fellowes. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
By now you have figured out that I am big on organizing! I can’t stand for my house not to be organized. Especially my office area. Since we ave moved here this summer my office area has drove me nuts!! I can’t stand it. So this past few weeks I have made it my mission to get it organized. Fellowes has really helped me ind doing just that!
From managing the family’s finances to sharing carpooling duties and taking calls from the office, moms are busy these days! That’s why it’s important to have products in the home that make life easier. One of my favorite products is Fellowes 63Cb shredder. The stylish 63Cb shredder is perfect for do-it-all moms because it features innovative technologies that help them get the job done and back to the things they’d rather be doing – like playing with the kids or watching a great new show with the hubby.
These features include:
- SafeSense® technology that automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening (perfect for curious fingers and paws).
- Fellowes’ Jam BlockerTM technology that prevents overfeeding and stops jams in their tracks, making sure moms can get the job done without any interruptions.
- A proprietary Energy Savings System, which functions whether the machine is in use or not.
- The 63Cb also features an easy-to-use pull out bin and 8 minute run time, which is longer than most shredders in its range, meaning moms can get through jobs quickly.
-
The shredder’s Cross-Cut blades destroy a single sheet of paper into 302 particles and easily shred credit cards, paper clips and staples, preventing extra work!
As the one (and only) person in the house that has made it her mission to get organized I have figured out some things that helps me. It all depends on what’s getting organized. As for our schedules I have a dry eraser board that I write down everyone’s schedule on it and in a different color for each person. As for the bills(the big one), there are a few things that have help me. The first thing I do is organize them by month. Than I scan them in the computer and punch in the data in a spread sheet. That way I can see if we are using too much water one month or another. Or what months we use the heater or ac the most. I can also keep track of what days they are do and don’t fall behind on the bills. (Don’t want to have to deal with the yucky late fees!) After I enter the information in I shred the papers, because it’s not safe to keep those kind of papers around. Too many important information on it. This project is where the Fellowes 63Cb has come pretty handy in! It’s also the hardest one to stay up on. So what I do is try to do it once a week. I have a metal bill holder that I put the bills in through out the week and handle the project on Sundays. That helps me from getting overwhelmed or behind.
In October 2012 I got my diaper bag stollen out of my vehicle. I had just run into a building for a few short minutes and didn’t want to carry it in with me. It had EVERYTHING in it. When I say everything I mean it. It my kids and mine social security cards, medical cards, credit cards, checkbook, wic checks, my kindle fire that I just got for my birthday and my planner (that had all my appointments in it.) I was lost! I can not describe to you the frustration and fear I had at that moment. I had to put a block on all my social security numbers and credit cards. At that time I learned a very important lesson. You have to protect those things. It’s not hard for your identity get stolen. That’s why I now shred all of our bills and important papers that have any of those numbers. I will not be a victim of identity theft if I can prevent it!
I strongly advise you to invest in a shredder it can save you a lot of heartache and money in the long run. And if you are going to invest in one you might as well in vest in the best, Fellowes 63Cb. It is perfect for moms in many ways. Outside of keeping your information protected it also keeps little wondering hands protected with the SafeSense Technology. I hadn’t got a shredder before because of that very reason. I was afraid that my daughter would stick her hands in it and get hurt. Now I don’t have to worry about that. All around this shredder had made my life a lot easier and now I don’t have to worry that much!!
