#FitMadeFun Day with LeapBands and Clif Kid Zbars
Disclosure: I was provided Clif Bars and 2 Leapfrog LeapBands for the purpose of hosting my own #FitMadeFun party. All opinions and experiences are my own.
September 6th, LeapFrog celebrated Fit Made Fun Day which was created to inspire kids everywhere to get active! Hundreds of kids and their families joined together on the 6th for multiple GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® record attempts in Santa Monica, California but for those not able to join the Fit Made Fun Day Activities in California. With my husband being a Physical Education Teacher and Coach we wanted to do our part and we hosted our own Fit Made Fun Party.
LeapFrog recently launched the LeapBand which ia a fun activity tracker just for kids that encourages active play and healthy habits with a customizable pet pal! We received two LeapBands and boxes of CLIF Kid Zbar Protein samples for our guests to try which included the Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Mint and Peanut Butter Chocolate Flavors! The LeapBand is a wearable activity tracker made just for kids ages 4-7. (You can read my review here.) The LeapBand is a great way to keep kids motivated and active without them even known because to them they are playing a game.
On September 6, I hosted a Fit Made Fun party to test out our LeapBands! We first started the party off pretty slow. Everyone got to say there hellos and then enjoyed a snack of Clif Kid bars.

For our fit challenges we did the same worm ups that my husband does in his P.E class. We timed how many push ups, set ups, and jumping jacks that they could do in a minute. Zoey was one of the youngest, and she ended up doing more push ups than a lot of the older kids. She was pretty pleased with that, because she was afraid she wouldn’t be as good as the others. Once the challenges were over they got to explorer the LeapBand and the app on my ipod touch. Bryson is on the upper end of the age limit and Zoey was in the middle of it, and honestly I can’t tell you who enjoyed it more. Overall, our Fit Made Fun party was a success and the kids had such a great time participating in all the activities and playing with the LeapBand!
