If you have a STEM and science loving kid in the house, like I do, you are going to want to check out this really engaging and fun book we just got called Experiments in the Kitchen. This is the perfect book to keep the kids engaged on snow days when there is no school! The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. Kids love to experiment, but they are probably used to doing that somewhere other than the kitchen. With this book, you can get in the kitchen, grab some basic ingredients and start mixing, experimenting and exploring how chemical reactions can occur. The experiments cover matter, microbiology and so much more to keep kids coming back to try their hands at more experiments time and time again.
This was fun because all 4 of my kids were interested in getting into the kitchen to mix, explore and learn some cool new tricks. I know we are going to pull this book out many times over the winter when it is too cold to play outdoors for very long.
