EQtainment Q Wunder Game

Although I received this product free in exchange for my honest review, all opinions stated here are completely my own.

I love finding new games for my family to play together. Sometimes it is hard to find a game that Carly Jo can play. She’s only 5 and most games go over her head. Carly Jo can pick up on just about everything educational wise, but lacks a lot of social skills. She’s been in preschool for two years and is now in Kindergarten, and the struggle is still real!  However she picked up pretty quick on the game Q Wunder. I was very excited to get this board game.  I thought this would be a good way to sneak some social/emotional learning in for her and be fun to play with as a family.

My Thoughts:

The board, die, and character pieces are very well made. The die is overlarge, so you will have a hard time losing it. The cards are made from a thick paper that won’t be easily torn or bent. The rules are simple and the travel path along the board isn’t complicated or needlessly long. I was very pleased with this game!! It was very kid friendly; making it easy to play with the WHOLE family! The cards range from DO (do something physical), to YOU (answer a question related to the player), or Q (discuss a situation Q the monkey has gotten into). I love how this games makes you think and makes you get up and move. It’s the best of both worlds!  The Q book ties into this nicely and gives the players a backstory.
