DIY Lip Gloss with Udderly Smooth #udderlysmoothcrew
Disclosure: I received a copy of this game to facilitate my review, however, all opinions are my own and I was not required to give a positive review.
Recently I was given a challenge to come up with other ways to use my already favorite skin care item…Udderly Smooth. I wanted to get creative, so at first I thought about what do I currently use it for and why. I live in Kansas and the cold and wind is constantly drying out my skin and my lips. During this time of year I always keep Udderly Smooth and lip gloss on hand. However with two little girls my lip glosses tend to grow legs and walk away! Instantly I thought about what if I can make my own Lip Gloss with Udderly Smooth and other things that I had on hand and that’s what I did.
What you will need….
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 tbsp Udderly Smooth Shea Butter
- Chunk of Lipstick for tin
- empty lip gloss container
Here’s the fun part…
- Mix the coconut oil, udderly smooth shea butter, lipstick in a bowl.
- Microwave for 1 min or little less. (Just watch it and see when it all melts.)
- Pour into the empty container.
- Freeze for an hour.
That’s it! Once you follow these simple four steps you will have made your very own lip gloss! Pretty neat, hugh! For a fun added twist I used a decorative duct tape to decorate the container. Honestly this winter you can’t go wrong if you keep Udderly Smooth on hand. They have stuff that will help your feet, hands, bodies, and now lips!! I can always count on them to keep my skin nice and smooth. (Plus smelling great!)
