Contigo West Loop Stainless Travel Mug Review

My family is making an effort to be healthier. To eat better foods, to consume less junk food, to drink more water and to get more activity into our days. I am making huge steps in drinking more water, but there is one thing that always seems to be my downfall. I do not like room temperature or warm water! If my bottle of water gets warm, I am done with it until it has been chilled again.

Lucky for me, I got to try out a really great travel mug from Contigo that has helped me to keep my water cool so that I can drink even more water every day. I can’t wait to tell you about the West Loop Stainless Travel Mug with Easy-Clean Lid from Contigo. This is really an amazing product. It is so much more than just another travel mug!

The Contigo West Loop Stainless Travel Mug  features a one-touch AUTOSEAL lid that automatically seals between sips to prevent spills and to keep my water at the perfect temperature for drinking.  Imagine a mug that is a double-wall vacuum-insulated mug. It keeps condensation off of the exterior of the mug for dry hands and perfectly chilled water for up to 12 hours. The mug can also be used for hot drinks and will keep them hot for an amazing 5 hours. This mug is unlike any other I have ever used. A lot of mugs promise to keep drinks hot or cold, but fall short on what is advertised. That is not the case with this awesome travel mug!

I left my mug in my truck over the weekend, for about 6 hours. This was the perfect time to test the claims of 12 hours of cool water. It gets really hot here in Kansas, so I admit, when I took a sip of my water after it was in my truck, I did so with hesitation. I expected a boiling hot sip of water. Imagine my face when cool, refreshing water touched my lips! Yeah, I was really a happy girl!

The mug is priced at about $21, but it is really an investment in a healthier me. I no longer have to rechill my water or add ice to it.
