Yesterday it was 89 degrees. EEEkkk…that can only mean one thing. Summer is here. Well almost. I live in Kansas where mother nature can’t make up her mind. Next week it’s suppose to be close to 50 again. I’m just ready for the warm weather. Beauty Box 5 must have read my mind. They sent me a few good products to help lift my spirits and get ready for summer!

For those of you who don’t know Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription beauty box. Each month they send out five different products for you to try. This way you can try new things each month and they do all the hard work in picking what products. It’s like Christmas every month! I love it.

This month focus was Shades of Beauty.  Now keep in mind that I am a mom of a very messy toddler when you hear what was my favorite this month. I really liked the Blum Naturals All Purpose Cleansing wipes. They are perfect for keeping in the diaper for me or Carly Jo. So now matter where I was with these wipes I could easily fix  a make up mess or clean a very messy eater’s face.

My sister-in-law got to enjoy a few things this month too. She really enjoyed the Bonne Bell Lip Definer, Nicka K New York Hydro Lipstick, and lastly Jergens Natural Glow- 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer. I let her try these out for a couple reasons…one I don’t like red. 🙂 I am more of a neutral color kind of gal and both lipstick and definer were in red. Needless to say she was pleased!! She loved them. She said they went on smooth and stayed on for all day (even with some smooching going on!) Second, I am native american. I have a natural tan. However she’s white as can be and could use a little tan.  I think that was her favorite thing. For several days after she used it she kept saying “I’m sexy and I know it!”

Lastly was the BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Palette. I have to admit I probably wouldn’t have tried a couple of these colors if it wasn’t for the palette. However, I did and I was very surprised. I liked the colors and how I looked in them. My husband like the Malibu, but I liked the San Francisco.  Now with summer in the horizon you can get a new look and a new “sexy tan!” Oh don’t forget you can also clean up those lovely messes that you know is going to happen!!
