Bad Hair Days with the Aflac Duck Salon

This post is sponsored by Aflac. I was compensated for writing it, but all opinions are 100 percent mine

As a work from home mom with 3 kids, you can only imagine how busy my days are. Between taking care of the kids, the house, the dog and working I have to admit, my hair is the least of my concerns on any given day.

When I do have time or reason to fix my hair loss problems I like to start with a leave in conditioner, give my hair a really good brushing and follow it up with a product to increase shine. But, like I said. I am a busy work at home mom. My hair isn’t done up too often.

Looking at it, maybe I should rethink that… what a mess huh? I am making an appointment for the salon… Right. Now. I need to get a cut and color badly! But there is one salon I won’t be visiting and that is the Aflac Duck Salon!
Every time I see this commercial I laugh and laugh! I love that it follows the theme of the cute duck trying his wings at new things, like hair styling. As he falls short on styling his clients react with horror and shock, two women observing the Aflac Duck’s work from under the dryers discuss how one mistakenly believed that he was the best hair stylist.
The spot closes with a conversation between two women at the salon: “Oh, he’s a horrible stylist, but, he’s the best at paying claims fast.” She later adds, “He paid mine in just one day.” The first woman is so impressed with Aflac’s new One Day Pay promise that she overlooks the horrible hairdos.
About Aflac:
In the United States, Aflac is the leading provider of voluntary insurance at the work site.  Aflac is different from health insurance; it’s insurance for daily living.  Aflac pays cash benefits quickly and directly to you, unless otherwise assigned, to help with out-of-pocket expenses when you’re sick or hurt. The benefits are predetermined and paid regardless of any other insurance you have. Supplemental insurance policies such as accident, critical illness and cancer help protect workers from high out-of-pocket costs that major medical insurance was never designed to cover. Many supplemental insurance policies pay cash benefits that can be used for everyday living expenses like groceries, child care, rent or parking at the hospital.
If supplemental insurance policies are not part of your health plan, it may be worth approaching your employer to ask for them!
About the Aflac One Day Pass:
When a policyholder gets sick or hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fast – now in as little as ONE business day with the company’s new One Day Pay℠ promise.
One Day Pay℠ is Aflac’s way of making sure eligible claims get processed and approved the same day they’re submitted, so policyholders can get paid in just a day. Aflac is built to process and pay – not to deny and delay – to help your life stay on track.
A lot of insurance companies talk about how much money they’ll save policyholders on premiums, but people buy insurance to get paid when they need to file a claim. Aflac understands that claims matter and that it’s important to be there for their policyholders when they need it most.
