Ripley’s Believe it or Not A Centrey of Strange

Guys if you or your child likes Ripley’s Believe It or Not then you are going to love their new book Ripley’s Believe It or Not A Century of Strange. This book is filled with thousands of strange stories from all around the world that have happened in the last 100 years. How awesome is that? Our family is absolutely in love with this book and we have really been able to learn some really interesting new things that seem insane. I mean honestly some of these stories are so strange they are almost hard to believe. This post is a sponsored post, but all opinions, stories, and my experience are all personal and true (like always)!

I often find my kids sitting down and reading this book, sharing stories with their friends online or over the phone and having a good laugh. One of their favorite stories was when they were reading about Silky Smooth, a Hamster who was born with no hair because of a genetic mutation and a staff member at the Oregon humane society crocheted him a tiny white sweater to keep warm. I mean really, how cool of a fact is that to learn about, and honestly really not something you hear about at all. Or how about a story about a shark that bit a man’s stomach and held on for 30 minutes and eventually had to be cut away from the man’s body.

This book is filled with so many more crazy and interesting facts like this, that you don’t mind reading over it again and again. We have even shared this book several times with our kids teachers and now I’m thinking I need to get them each a copy for their classroom because they say their students love reading it at story time. I highly recommend adding this to your home library you really won’t regret it at all. These would make great presents with the holidays coming up or even great birthday gifts. I know I will be getting them for some of my family members who have kids that I know would enjoy reading this book.
