Summer brings a lot of fun and excitement. Especially when you are a kid. All you can think about is playing outside and playing in water. This year I decided to step it up a little for Carly Jo’s birthday and get her an Anchors Away Pirate Ship. To say she liked it is an understatement!!

My Thoughts:

I have to admit when I first opened the box I cringed a little bit because there were TONS of parts. I thought it was going to be a pain in my booty to put together and take forever. It was quite the opposite. It took me about fifteen minutes to put together. Most of it was just snapping things into place. I had to screw the legs to the table and another piece to the table, but that was they only thing that required a tool.

Once it was together my older two kids carried it outside. (So you know it’s not that heavy!) They didn’t want to wait on me. It took about five gallons of water to fill it up. Once the water was in it, it became a free for all for my kids. They were trying all the different things out. It didn’t take long to tell who liked what. Carly Jo really loved the pump that was in the center of the table. The pump allowed the water to come from the table and work it’s down a tower of obstacles that would spend or turn because of the water. Bryson loved the little yellow things that you could spin to change the way the water was flowing. Lastly Zoey really (and I mean really) loved the cannon! She just got a kick out of squirting Bryson and Carly Jo.

After an hour of playing outside I decided it was time for Carly Jo to come in and take a nap. Needless to say she wasn’t happy, but yet was out in matter of minutes. The first words out of her mouth when she woke up was… “I wanna play with my ship!” As we speak Carly Jo and Zoey are outside playing on the water table. So to recap we started the day playing on the water table and now we are ending the day playing on the water table. Little Tikes really nailed summer fun with this water table!!
