As a mom of four little ones there is one thing that I hate when it comes to raising kids: potty training! My oldest, however, is almost eleven so that may change to something else as we continue our journey as parents. My youngest is almost two, so we are starting our last journey with potty training with our Big Kid Lee Lee. With going through this journey 3 times now I have learned a couple important things. Most importantly don’t force it on them. It won’t happen unless they are ready to do the journey with you. It may be sooner than you think (like with Lee Lee) and it may be later than you think like with my youngest daughter. She was 3.5 when she was finally completely potty trained. This post is a sponsored post, but all opinions, stories, and my experience are all personal and true (like always)!
I have to admit I wasn’t ready to potty train Lee Lee. It’s fall and the craziest and most expensive time of the year. He is ready, though, so like it or not I have to get ready to walk down this journey with him. I don’t know how I will do it with all the things we have going on such as cheer, tumble, football, volleyball, Halloween activities, pumpkin patches, and so much more! I will take it one day at a time. One thing I do know is that thanks to Costco and Pull-Ups Plus Training Pants I will be able to save a little money this October! They have a special instant savings of $7.00 off Pull-Ups Plus going on through 10/22 so you can do a little more with your kids this fall with the money you will be saving!
I know with all the money I will be saving by stocking up this October, I will be buying several pumpkins for carving and making special goodies, because it never seems like we have enough of them! Seeing the kids’ excitement and creativity at work when we decorate the pumpkins as a family is priceless!
