March of Dimes celebrates Moms and Dads #imbornto #MoDSquad

The March of Dimes #ModSquad believes “every baby is born to do something special and unique.”  This is at the epicenter of their #imbornto initiative.  They celebrate mothers and fathers, as well as funds research to continue helping babies begin life healthy.  Many babies are born premature each year, and the they plays an integral role in making sure these babies have every chance to live for what they were born to do.

The March of Dimes March of Dimes has partnered with several companies who play their part to help by donating portions of purchases during the March of Dimes’ #imbornto campaign from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.  These companies include:  Kmart, Martha Stewart, Bon Ton, Mudpie, Blue Rhino, Ebay, Alex and Ani, and A & E Jewelers.  By shopping through these retailers, you can help them’ #imbornto campaign simply by purchasing fine products from these wonderful retailers!

While I can certainly appreciate the mission of the March of Dimes, it especially hits home for me as a parent.  My first child spend time in a NICU when he was first born, and I remember the desperateness and hopelessness I felt knowing that I could not do anything to help him.  With that being said, I am so happy that an organization like the #ModSquad March of Dimes exists to help ensure that all children have a healthy beginning and the chance to grow up doing what they were born to do!
