Giving the Little Ones A Push in Learning with Scholastic

Kids are curious and learn best in hands on ways. Before they head off to school it is a good idea to begin the learning process at home, to give them a firm foundation in the formative years. My little guy has started preschool and he is so excited to learn to identify and write the abc’s, numbers and etc. The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.

Recently we got a chance to try out a great collection of workbooks for little learners from Edelweiss. These are perfect for an introduction to the basics for eager little ones. I love that the books are durable and sturdy for hands that might not always be gentle and are packed with a lot of engaging information!

The Wipe Clean Pre K Book is packed with ample ways for kids to practice writing letters and the sounds they make, writing numbers, sequencing, colors, shapes, and opposites. The book wipes clean so it can be used time and time again. Retailing at about $10 it is a great investment for your students from ages 3 to 6 or so.

The Scholastic Giant Workbook: Pre-K  edition is great because kids can master the basics of penmanship and work through 264 pages. My kids loved that the workbook includes 24 pages of stickers for postive reinforcement. Retailing at about $10 this is another must have for homes with preschoolers.

The Jumbo Workbook: Kindergarten is another comprehensive workbook for kids. It is filled with colorful illustrations that are engaging. The workbook covers penmanship, phonics and so much more. Kids will love that it includes so many stickers for a well earned reward after completing some of the worksheets.

The Jumbo Workbook Getting Ready for Pre K gives kids a chance to practice writing, phonics, sorting and more. It includes 250+ pages and many stickers to keep kids motivated to learn!

All of these titles are affordable and are a perfect tool for helping toddlers and preschoolers get ready to begin their school days. After completing the workbooks you child will be ready to start school with a good grasp on numbers, letters, colors, sorting and phonics among other things. I highly recommend these titles to other families and early educators.
