2018 is just around the corner. I graduated high school in 2003. The world-wide web wasn’t scary then, but now it is at least for this mommy. Don’t get me wrong I love it! I think it’s the most useful thing out there. We can do so much with the internet. My kids live five hours from their nearest grandparent, aunt, uncle, or cousin. Even with this distance between us it feels like we don’t miss a beat. They get to video chat with their grandparents any night of the week. Facebook allows me to keep them updated with the kids activities by posting pictures. However, anything good always has some bad. There is a very dark scary side of the internet and as a parent it’s our job to protect our kids as much as we can. CUJO is the friend that any parent needs!
CUJO is a smart firewall for the connected home, designed to bring business-level security to the home network. This one device will secure all devices connecting to the WiFi router. CUJO detects and blocks malicious sites, viruses, and hacks. Think of it like antivirus for your entire network. Plus, CUJO lets you control what your kids access online and keep them safe.
At first glance I thought it was cute! It’s not very big. Which is a huge plus because I don’t have much free space on my desk. It has a lot of great features from the business level internet security to the parent controls. My favorite would be the parent controls. Bryson has been wanting me to let him on the internet more, but I haven’t let him. He doesn’t even have a Facebook. He’s ten going on thirty, so I know it’s a matter of time before I have to let him. CUJO really helps put my mind at ease. I can set up internet filters, time limits, pause internet, and even monitor his social media. I can also set up alerts and get reports. I strongly recommend using CUJO if you have any little ones that use the internet. It really will put your mind at ease!
