Are you looking for some great Bird Watching books for your child? This post is a sponsored post, but all opinions, stories, and my experience are all personal and true (like always)! The Great Backyard Bird Count is definitely something that I would recommend for anyone who has kids that are interested in Birds and nature. There are several different books and pieces that your child will receive to help them learn more about birds, science, nature and other things.
PBS Kids Look and Learn Birds comes with a 64 page book packed full of bright and informative pages about birds, helping your child to be able to spot and identify different birds in your area. How neat is it that they can learn about the different birds and be able to identify them when you are out and about. Also they get a pair of easy to use binoculars to help them bird watch. My kids love sitting on the back porch in the morning and looking for birds. Also you get an activity poster and a portable laminated list of common birds here in North America. This by itself is worth getting for your child. It is so educational and full of information I have even learned about birds with my child.
You also can get Into the Field Guide: A walk on the Beach and Into the Field Guide: A walk in the Woods. I love that we live where we can use both of these in real life, but even if you don’t live near a beach or near the woods I would recommend this as your child is sure to learn so much about everything in both environments. We also love the Science with Stuff: Bird-Acious book. This book is packed full of more information for your child to learn. It does come with a gross owl pellet that your child can pull apart and it reveals the bones of a small animal that an owl eats. All these books are awesome for kids of all ages and so fun to learn with them about different things in nature.
