The series also garnered four Golden Globes®, including acting wins for Kidman and Dern.
If you liked the first season of Big Little Lies, you will probably like the second. It’s completely going into more detail and information, with further development of the “Monterey Five” as well as the introduction of Meryl Streep as Celeste’s antagonistic mother-in-law. The acting in my opinion went above and beyond all around, and the musical choices fitting. I hope the series returns for a third season, but if not, the ending here suffices as an overall conclusion.
