I have something I must admit to you guys. I suck at cooking. I hate it. However several months ago doing what I do cooking to nourish and take care of my kiddos I caught on that my three year old really (I mean REALLY loves helping me in the kitchen!) Picking up on this I began figuring out ways to get him more involve in the kitchen. I may not be great at it, but there is no reason I can’t do what all great mothers do and encourage him to grow at what he enjoys. Right?!
During this search is when Baketivity came into the picture. This subscription service is the best! It has moms like me and kids like Lee Lee in mind. They provide everything we need for the recipe in the box. The directions is easy to follow. So much so that my eight year was able to guide my three year old through the process. I just set back and watched the bonding that was happening between the two and assisted when needed too. The food that resulted in the end, which for us was cinnamon rolls was amazing!! I wasn’t able to get a picture of them before all of the kids (even the big one!) ate them all. LOL I strongly suggest Baketivity as activity for a family who loves to bake or is trying to learn how to.
