5 Ways to Cherish Those Organic Moments as A Family

One thing I have learned over the years is that it’s important to cherish the time you have with your family. Time is precious and will past before your eyes. As a mom of four and an aunt to five there is one thing I love the most and it’s the small organic moments with my family.

Here are five ways that you can cherish those organic moments.

1. Put down the electronics and eliminate the distraction. Texting, emailing, playing games, messing on facebook, and so much more that we do on our electronics is just distracting us and causing us to miss the organic moments that are happening right before your eyes.
2. Make a play date each week. This is the fun one. It’s all low budget and family friendly. Some examples are going to the park, going for a walk, riding a bike, having a movie night, or a game night. The options are wide open!
3. Take more pictures! It’s easy to just keeping going on with life, but you will want to remember those moments forever. It could years down the road from the moment, but with pictures it will seem like yesterday.
4. Don’t bring work home. (For Work at Home Parents…set work hours.) This will make it easier to cut the distraction out of life.
5. Lastly, watching your significant other take on nurturing moments! This one is simple, but trust me it makes my heart melt. We have this routine were I would make the bottle using Earth’s Best
